This beautiful runner offers a tactile and grounding experience for any hallway or narrow living space. With a plush pile that measures 12 mm in thickness, it provides a soft, cushioned feel underfoot while effectively dampening sound to create a calmer home environment.

The rug is crafted from Wool, known for its natural resilience and ability to retain its appearance through years of daily use. The deep, dark blue field serves as a perfect canvas for the finely detailed floral patterns that dance across the surface, offering a visual richness that is both sophisticated and welcoming.

As a one-of-a-kind piece, this runner represents a unique opportunity to own a work of art that will never be replicated. Because every rug is created individually, you can be certain that the specific arrangement of motifs and the subtle variations in colour are exclusive to your home, making it a truly personal design choice.

Originating from the Middle East, this piece reflects a long-standing tradition of rug weaving where beauty and functionality are perfectly balanced. Whether placed in a long entry or alongside a bed, its presence anchors the room and adds a layer of warmth and character that only a hand-knotted item can provide.

The Nain rug tradition hails from the town of Nain in the Middle East, a region that evolved from a centre of high-quality textile weaving into one of the most prestigious names in rug production. Historically famous for its fine Wool and intricate designs, the local craft has gained worldwide recognition for its elegance and technical precision.

Nain rugs are celebrated for their use of distinct colour palettes, often favouring deep blue, cream, and ivory tones. The designs typically feature a central medallion surrounded by complex floral arabesques and vines, drawing inspiration from classical garden motifs that have been refined over generations of local practice.

The hallmark of this tradition is the incredible attention to detail. Skilled weavers often incorporate specific, delicate floral patterns that require immense focus and patience to execute. This dedication to craft ensures that each rug possesses a sharpness of design that allows the motifs to stand out clearly against the field.

Owning a piece from this tradition is about more than just floor decor, it is about preserving a legacy of skill. Collectors value these rugs for their ability to blend seamlessly into sophisticated interiors while retaining their cultural roots, making them a lasting investment in beauty and human effort.

This runner is meticulously hand-knotted, a traditional process that involves tying thousands of individual knots to build the rug from the ground up. This labour-intensive method ensures that the design is deeply integrated into the structure, resulting in a level of pattern clarity and durability that machine-made rugs simply cannot match.

With a total weight of 8.7 kg, this runner demonstrates the substantial amount of Wool used in its construction. This density is a primary indicator of its quality, ensuring that the rug remains stable on your floor and maintains its plush character even in high-traffic areas of your home.

Wool

Wool is a fantastic natural fibre with many benefits, it is durable and hard-wearing, which means that a rug made from wool can be used for several generations and maintain its quality. They are an excellent choice for keeping your rooms warm during the cold winter months and can reduce noise from everyday life. The material also has a natural dirt-repellent effect which makes wool rugs easy to keep clean. Wool has a natural elasticity, which means that when the pile is pressed down, it can easily bounce back to its original shape.

Cotton

Cotton is a natural material that makes them a suitable option for people with allergies. The material is soft, durable and resilient, which makes them practical and comfortable for high-traffic areas such as the hallway, kitchen, and bathroom.
